Why not take a journey to Iceland during Autumn, Winter or Spring to discover the sheer beauty of these changing seasons?

In the Autumn the days are getting shorter and the air takes on a tangy smell. The blueberry shrubs and the small birch trees that can be seen everywhere, are changing their colors for a dramatic effect.

During a stay in Winter you will see endless peaceful horizons, awesome landscapes of frozen lakes, frosted waterfalls and the famous Icelandic horses in their thick winter coats. Nature sleeps under a blanket of snow and the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) glow and move overhead, captivating human imagination since the beginning of time. The Winter changes the landscape and the deep quiet calms the mind.

The time just before Christmas in Iceland is magical. Do you know that there are thirteen Christmas lads? They are a mischievous bunch and always ready to tease people. Each one of them has a name like Candle-Stealer, Window-Peeper- Spoon-Licker, Door-Slammer etc.

On New Years Eve in Reykjavík you will see one of the largest firework displays and there are fires everywhere. It is quite impressive.

In Spring nature wakes up slowly again. The geese, the swans and other birds are returning to Iceland. To hear the different sounds of the birds is unique especially when you travel further up in the country.

Does this inspire you to come and experience it for yourself? We offer Motorhomes with private facilities (sink, shower, toilet) and 4×4 Campers (with sink and toilet) throughout the whole year.
